How long does is the battery life for the INVICTA SUBAQUANOMA-3 Chronograph?
Typical life expectancy of any chronograph watch is 3-5 years. without the extra features rolling it can last longer at times. This also depends on when the original battery was installed and when you bought the watch vs production date.

what happened to jim skelton of shop nbc.
Recently received a grand diver model 3044 from shop nbc . Has a nh25a. Automatic movement in it. I tried winding it manually and the crown just freewheels,won’t wind. Is this normal for this movement?
Is the crown properly seated? You should feel the tension in most instances. Has the watch died yet, if it has not make sure it’s keeping proper time. You may just not feel it winding.
I cannot get into the watchgeeks.net website. Is it not operating any longer and this site is replacing it? I guess I’m out of the loup.
There is zero tension on the crown when I try to wind it . I turned it a couple of hundred times.the watch doesn’t even start running ! If I shake the watch and get the rotor spinning it will run for an hour or so,I’ve called invicta service they told me the watch doesnt wind manually. I own several automatics. This doesn’t sound right.
When I turn the crown to wind it it feels like there is nothing attached to it.

I ran across a Brightling Navigator with a slide rule on the outer bezel. Invicta does not make such a beast
even in quartz, can you make any suggestions in other watch makers. Seiko yes but not the look, the Weiss automatics have something on the outer dial, uni directional?
Help! The Peuter face on my bead blast Sub Aqua IV is still facinating, but the watch needs a non pillow braclet like the Sea Hunter “the flex.” The most comfortable band or braclet I have worn in 50 years.

I own a swill Legend Militare with a valjoux 7750 chronograph movement. I really like to see the sweeping second hand moving around the dial. this watch being a mechanical automatic, is it OK to leave the chrono on all the time so sweep second hand moves or am I doing anything negative to the movement by doing this?

I have an Invicta Reserve Excursion with GMT, Alarm, Day and Date. Modle # 6108. I’m not sure but I believe the movement is the ETA G10.711. I noticed today that the GMTneeded setting and the pointer on the dial for the alarm’s on/off position needed recalibrating. Can anyone tell me how to accomplish those tasks?

We have spoken on the phone I am the veteran who is at Bay Pines VA Medical Center. I just acquired a Black Pave Diamond watch. I still have all my other Invictas, I still watch the show and tried to call in a few times, but didn’t get through. I’m from Hallendale Florida and Eyal lives by my Grandfather in Hallendale, where you did the big show on the water on Oleander drive. JT, Why would anyone want to join such a lame website? I was very disappointed when I logged on. I expected a vibrant exchange between watch collectors and a venue for trading and selling pieces from my collection. Most posts on here are 2 or 3 years old. Did everyone abandon it when Jim Skelton went wherever he went?
Own Invicta Ocean Reef #6777 with Ronda 5040f movement. Invicta WILL NOT describe in user terms what Power Saver Mode is or does. Entire Internet is evasive on this topic. Movement is QUARTZ (I think), but has self winding attitude. With stem locked down or not locked down and worn or placed in a rotator, watch keeps time; left alone for a day or two, it stops. With the stem out and wound up and not worn, it keeps time. What is the nominal behavior of Power Saver Mode for the Ronda 5040 f?
POwer save mode is simply when the watch is running low on power the second hand will move 2-5 seconds at a time vs each second.
Invicta #6777 has tiny second hand as well as big one with chronograph. My comments refer to non-chronograph operation. Watch stops as above. Is maybe 2 yrs. old. Vague comments on Internet refer PSM as relating to whether the stem is locked down or not.

The is a common feature of quartz movements, In most ETA movements this feature exists and brands whitelabel it into their own marketing. It sounds like your specific Invicta may be slightly different.
Watch Geek: you have gotten me off of dead center. Google search of “quartz watch power saver mode” gives several whippy options. As to Invicta, they are just being butts – way too busy making money to answer questions. And of course the Swiss, Masters of the Universe, are not going to explain anything to anybody. TY
