Great Watch - Formal & Casual
|
| Review Date: May 25, 2009 |
| Reviewer: Hagop A. Emrazian, |
I got this watch for about 6 months now and it is a great deal. This is for people with big wrist. The band is adjustable and thick, I wear it with a suit and with a jeans as it suits both just perfectly well.
It has a little bit sharper ends than normal watches, so special attention is required as well as dusting it off from time to time since the band is made of hard rubber it will attract dust.
Overall this is a perfect watch to have and to give.

| I received this as a gift and it's a great watch imo. Works perfectly and well balanced. I haven't experienced any issues at all. It came in a large wood case. The band is massive and as far as cutting it down myself I decided against that and had a jeweler do it for me. He took less than 5r minutes and didn't even charge me for it. |
Great looking but doesn't stay latched !

Watch looks great and got alot of compliments on it. Unfortunately, every other time I moved my hand it would hit the latch on the bottom and come loose. Watch doesn't fall off, because its like an adjustable bracelet. But,this is annoying as hell. Cannot get a different band (even from Invicta) this watch is huge and so is the band especially where it meets the bezel.
I could live with the annoyance, this watch does really look great, but then the band came apart from the bezel two or three times. The last time I got the band reattached, I decided to check the screws on the side and tighten up, bad idea, I broke the screw in half trying to tighten it. One half in the watch body the other on my counter, still didn't get the band reattached.
Maybe, if you have a large wrist this won't be a problem, my wrist is about 7.5 inches. You have to cut the band with an exacto knife and reattach the clasp to fit your wrist to get the proper sizing, this is also a pain.
Watch looks great, would probably get another one in blue, if would do what a wrist watch is supposed to do stay attached to my wrist. |
